The presence and growth of living organic
matter in water based cooling systems is a common problem that must be
dealt with by the operating engineer. Traditionally, biocides have been
added on a regular basis to attempt to control the growth of these
organisms and maintain a clean and healthy system. Unfortunately, regular
additions of biocides alone may not be adequate to prevent the growth and
proliferation of organisms in the cooling water. The end result of this
growth may include fouling of the cooling equipment by biological slime,
corrosion caused by aggressive bacterial growths or even the transmission
of illness through contact with disease-laden water |

- The Bio-Assure Cooling Tower Program takes the guesswork
out of your biocide program by utilizing the latest water treatment

your Bio-Assure Program will utilize the following components:
 | A combination of oxidizing and non-oxidizing biocides

| A biodispersant designed to penetrate and remove
biofilm, slime and other organic contaminants from the cooling system. |
| Flushing and disinfecting treatments used for
preseason and midseason flushing and cleaning of the cooling system. |
| A cooling system lay-up treatment for use at seasons
end to flush and disperse particulate and organic matter and provide
corrosion inhibition during the off season. |
